I offer trauma-sensitive bodywork, trauma-informed counselling and support for fathers. Your needs and pace guide our work, whether you are looking for touch, a conversation or support over a longer period.
You decide what needs space today and what can wait.
If past experiences still affect you, you often feel tense or you feel little connection to yourself right now, you can bring your concerns to me. We start where you are, without expecting you to feel a particular way.
I listen and explain what support could look like. Together, we agree on what feels right for you. Your boundaries, questions and your right to say no are part of that from the start.
SPACE FOR CONNECTION · DEEP BODYWORK
02 · BODYWORK IN BREMEN
Touch that follows your lead.
Your experience and consent are at the centre of our work. Before we begin, we discuss what kind of touch feels right for you and what you need at that moment.
01
DEEP Bodywork
A bodywork session combines Californian full-body massage, fascial deep tissue work and Joint Release in an approach tailored to you.
Before we begin, I explain the process and we agree on which areas of the body will be included. I also check in during the session and adjust pressure and pace to your feedback.
You decide at any time whether to continue touch, change something or stop. Our aim is to find a form of bodywork that suits you together.
Booking opens on Calendly in a new tab. If you have questions first, you are welcome to contact me directly.
YOUR SPACE. YOUR PACE.
Feeling is a beginning.
Sometimes it starts with a feeling, sometimes with a wish for quiet or distance. What matters in our work is what feels right for you at that moment.
03 · TRAUMA-INFORMED COUNSELLING IN BREMEN
PERSONAL ONE-TO-ONE SUPPORT
Support that starts with you.
When difficult experiences continue to affect daily life, talking things through with someone can help you find your bearings. In trauma-informed counselling, we make time for your concerns, your questions and what helps you feel grounded. Counselling is available in person in Bremen and online via Zoom.
You can come with a specific concern or seek more intensive one-to-one support over several weeks. While waiting for a therapy place, we can also discuss whether and how this counselling service could support you. We agree together on the scope and frequency.
You decide what you want to share. There is no need to recount difficult experiences in detail. Uncertainty or a wish for distance can also be part of the conversation.
What supports you day to day
In conversation, we look at what is difficult for you and what already gives you support. From there, manageable steps for everyday life may emerge.
Conversation and bodywork
Conversation is at the heart of counselling. If you want to and it suits your needs, we can include body awareness, breathing or movement exercises and arrange additional bodywork sessions. Bodywork is optional and is not a requirement for counselling.
04 / MEN AND FATHERS
DADDYCATION AND SUPPORT FOR MEN
Your own path as a man and father.
Becoming a father can bring joy and closeness, as well as questions, uncertainty or memories of your own childhood.
Support for men and fathers makes room for what matters to you during this time. We talk about personal experiences, relationships and everyday life as a father. You decide what you want to share. The exchange can offer new perspectives and support you in shaping your own path.
The film shows how I work with attentive touch and respond to the person I am working with. It is an invitation to get to know my work and form a first impression.

NICK STEPHENS / BREMEN
06 · THE PERSON BEHIND THE WORK
HELLO, I’M NICK.
My story shapes my work.
I’m Nick, a father of three and a bodyworker by conviction. My work has grown from experiences that moved and changed me personally.
My path to bodywork
A bodywork session on a trip to Mexico changed how I understood the connection between body and feelings. I sensed how much of my own story still resonated physically within me. This experience led me to train in bodywork and to want to make this kind of connection accessible to others.
From fatherhood to supporting others
I was 24 when my partner became pregnant for the first time. Becoming a father also began a conscious exploration of my own history: What kind of father do I want to be? What do I want to pass on? Daddycation grew from this journey. Today, I support fathers and fathers-to-be with their questions, uncertainties and wish to approach family and relationships consciously.
My training in bodywork, trauma-informed counselling and trauma-informed education brings these two paths together. I draw on that knowledge while respecting your own history, boundaries and decisions.

What people say about my work
Here, people share how they experienced an encounter with my work.
Personal feedback
In my experience, Nick’s massage is very deep and very good. His touch is attentive, very slow and precise. Through this, deep-seated, persistent tension/adhesions ease for me. After each encounter, my body has realigned itself, moving back towards its original state. Step by step, more upright, more mobile and freer. This helps me feel much more connected to my body and at home in it again.
Thank you very much for your gift.
StefanTranslation of the original feedback
Ich war bei Deep Touch Bodywork in einer wirklich schwierigen Verfassung – mein Nervensystem komplett überreizt, innerlich total unruhig und ziemlich erschöpft.

09 · GETTING STARTED
Here are some first answers.
Before we first meet, you may want to know a little more about my work.
Who is DEEP Bodywork for?
DEEP Bodywork may appeal to you if you are looking for time for yourself and your body awareness during stress or tension. If touch feels uncertain for you, we can talk about that first. Together, we clarify whether bodywork is appropriate for your needs.
What happens in a session?
We begin by talking about your wishes and boundaries. I explain the process, and we agree on whether and how touch will take place. During bodywork, I check in about your consent and how you are feeling. You can pause, change something or end the session without having to explain why. At the end, we make time for rest and questions.
Where do sessions take place?
For in-person sessions, I welcome you at Studio Prana in Bremen’s Neustadt district, at Neustadtswall 15, 28199 Bremen. Trauma-informed counselling is also available online via Zoom. You can book bodywork sessions online. We arrange counselling appointments personally.
Trauma-informed counselling is not psychotherapy. Neither counselling nor bodywork replaces medical or psychotherapeutic diagnosis or treatment. If you are unsure, we discuss an appropriate setting in advance.
What does trauma-informed bodywork mean?
For me, working in a trauma-sensitive way means explaining the process clearly, keeping agreements and respecting your freedom to choose. Touch and exercises only happen with your consent. I actively check in, and we adjust the support to your feedback. You can say no, pause or stop at any time.
How is DEEP Bodywork different from a conventional massage?
Alongside the massage techniques, your wishes, boundaries and personal experience are central. We agree on touch and intensity together. There is no prescribed feeling or particular result you are expected to achieve.
How can I arrange an appointment?
You can book bodywork sessions through the linked Calendly page. If you have questions first or would like an appointment for trauma-informed counselling or other support, email or call me. Your initial enquiry carries no obligation.
If you cannot attend an agreed appointment, please cancel as early as possible by email or telephone. The notice period is calculated from when I receive your cancellation.
Cancellation at least 48 hours before the appointment is free of charge.
For cancellation at least 24 but less than 48 hours beforehand, 50 per cent of the agreed fee is charged.
For cancellation less than 24 hours beforehand or a missed appointment, a cancellation fee of up to 100 per cent of the agreed fee may apply.
If I can fill the appointment with another booking, no cancellation fee is charged. Any expenses saved are deducted.
You may demonstrate that no loss, or a smaller loss, occurred. In that case, the cancellation fee is waived or reduced accordingly.
Statutory rights of withdrawal and termination remain unaffected.
